Last year, a friend and I went from Shijo to Ginkakuji Temple walking around taking photos of temples, shrines and just about anything else we could see on our way to see Daimonji. We actually did not realize at first what day we had chosen to shoot photos, but lucked out actually going the same day of Daimonji.
