Day 1: Arrive in Vientiane, meet and transfer to hotel. Orientation sightseeing of
the city. Welcome dinner in a Lao restaurant, Pakhuay Mixay.
Overnight at Royal Dokmai Daang / Settha Palace Hotel, Vientiane. (D)
Day 2: Breakfast at the hotel. Morning transfer to the airport for the flight to
Luang Prabang. Upon arrival transfer to hotel and to lunch. Afternoon
sightseeing of Luang Prabang - Wat Visoun, Wat Sene, Wat Mai and Wat
Xieng Thong. Then climb the 329 steps up Phousi Hill for a panoramic
view of the city and river.
Dinner of set French meal at L'Elephant Blanc" restaurant.
Stroll in the main street, Thanon Sisavangvong before returning to the
hotel.
Overnight at Muang Luang Hotel / Grand Luangprabang Hotel
Luang Prabang. (B,L,D)
Day 3: Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to the Pak Ou caves by boat up the
Mekong River. See rice wine distillation at Ban Sang Hai and the holy
cave of "Tham Ting". Return to Luang Prabang for lunch. Afternoon trip
to the Kuangsi Falls and visit a village along the way.
Dinner in a local restaurant.
Overnight at Muang Luang Hotel / Grand Luangprabang Hotel,
Luang Prabang. (B,L,D)
Day 4: Breakfast at the hotel. City sightseeing to include the National Museum
(former King's palace), etc. before transfer to the airport for the flight back to
Vientiane. Lunch in a restaurant. In Vientiane airport, meet and drive to
Buddha Park and the Friendship Bridge. Return to Vientiane for dinner with
Lao cultural show.
Overnight at Royal Dokmai Daeng / Lao Plaza / Settha Palace Hotel,
Vientiane. (B,L,D)
Day 5: Breakfast at the hotel. City sightseeing to Wat Sisaket, Haw Pha Kaew,
That Luang Stupa, etc. before transfer to airport for departure flight. (B)
