Day 01: ARRIVE IN KUNMING (D)

Arrive in Kunming airport, meet and transfer to city for an orientation tour.
Early dinner at Camillia Garden restaurant. Drive 45 minutes to Spring Golf Course & Resort outside Kunming to check in.

Overnight at Spring Golf Course & Resort.

Day 02: KUNMING – GOLF AT SPRING GOLF COURSE (B,D)

Breakfast at the resort. Morning round of golf at the 18-hole Lake Course in the Spring Golf Course inclusive of green fee and caddy.

Sprawled alongside Lake Yang Zong Hai, this course provides a stimulating and invigorating golfing experience. As the course steps down to the lake in a series of terraces and palisades, it is breathtaking and challenging at the same time. The Signature Hole 8, par 3 is deceptively simple from the tee but the positioning is unforgiving and challenging. Time of pick up: 8am.

Tee off time: 8.30am

Transfer back to the resort after golfing.

NON-GOLFER: At 8.30am go on a tour to Jiuxiang National park (1.5-hour drive).

Stop awhile at Bao-shu-tang well known outlet for Chinese herbal medicines of which Yunnan is famous. At 12 noon lunch at Jiuxiang Hotel restaurant. This is followed by sightseeing of Jiuxiang National Park, inclusive of a 20-minute Cuiyin Gorge cruise, a 60-minute visit of the underground caves and a cable car ride back to the parking area where your transport waits to take you back to Spring Golf Course.

Join the golfers for dinner at the Spring Golf Course restaurant.

Day 03: KUNMING – SPRING GOLF COURSE & RESORT (B,D)

Breakfast at the resort. Morning round of golf at the 18-hole Mountain Course in the Spring Golf Course inclusive of green fee and caddy.

Spring City 's Mountain Course is designed by the Golden Bear himself - Jack Nicklaus. “The course utilizes the natural undulations of the terrain, thus maximizing the golf strategy with the challenges of side hills and elevated greens and tees" -Jack Nicklaus. Framed by beautiful native pines and rock outcroppings, the natural beauty is on full display here; but it is also a course that's equally full of golfing challenges. From the Signature Hole 8, par 3 to the world famous Hole 18, par 4, voted one f the top 500 holes in the World by US Golf Magazine Jan 2000, this course is truly a golfer's inspiration.

Non-golfers enjoy the facilities of the resort and be joined by the golfers at 1.30pm to go for lunch at the Lirunyuan Restaurant. This is followed by an afternoon of sightseeing of the Stone Forest until dinner time at 6.30pm.

Day 04: KUNMING – SUNSHINE GOLF COURSE (B,L,D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning round of golf inclusive of green fee and caddy at the Sunshine Golf Course, 45-minute drive from the city.

Sunshine Golf Club
Kunming Sunshine Golf Club is located in the north of Kunming City and only a few minutes from downtown linked by the Kunming-Qujing Express Way. A par 72 championship course playing 7231 yards that is the centerpiece of this 260-hectare master-planned course provides an unmatched view of not only the golf course but distant views of Kunming . The diversity of the site terrain creates a truly unique and traditional golf course, which meanders through two separate and distinctly different valleys that possess a variety of native vegetation. The golf course will test your skills with its challenging and enjoyable aspects. The driving range is the first one in Kunming equipped with lights, which is offering the best service from morning to night, including professional coaching.

After golfing, transfer to lunch at about 1.30pm in a local restaurant.

NON-GOLFERS: At 8.30am go to Jin-ma-bi-ji walking street for free shopping before being joined by the golfers at 1.30pm to lunch in a local restaurant. At 3.30pm everybody is transferred to the airport for the flight to Lijiang, departing at 16:55 hours, arriving at Lijiang airport at 5.45pm. Upon arrival at Lijiang airport, meet by local guide to transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 05: LIJIANG – GOLFING AT SNOW MOUNTAIN (B,L,D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning round of golf at the Snow Mountain Golf course inclusive of green fee and caddy.

Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Golf Club
At an altitude of 3100 meters and fine weather throughout the year, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Golf Club is located in the scenic western foothills of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Lijiang, Yunnan Province. The 18-hole par-72 golf course is scrupulously designed by Neil Haworth, the famous golf course architect, creating the longest course of 8548 yards in the world. The course is designed in consideration of the natural landscape to make it a different style course defining and displaying the unusual verve of the unique snow mountain golf course to the greatest extent.
The course is located in Lijiang region, which is the most famous resort in Yunnan Province. Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is the nearest snow mountain to the equator in the Northern Hemisphere; the Old Town of Lijiang is declared a world cultural heritage site by the UNESCO; the Dongba pictograph is the only living one in the world up to now; people from the Lugu Lake still maintain their matriarchy system.

NON-GOLFERS: Tour of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountains. Accompany the golfers to the Snow Mountains Golf Course, a 45-minute drive from Lijiang, then go up by cable car to Yunshanping pasture land for sightseeing with a stop at White-water River. This plateau is 3300m above sea level where there are walking trails set among very scenic surroundings.

Meet up with the non-golfers at 1.30pm for lunch at Dongba Dynasty Restaurant. After lunch take the 2-way cable car to ascend Glacier Park at the height of 4680 metres.

At 6.30pm dinner in a local restaurant before returning to our hotel.

Overnight at Guanfang Resort Hotel, Lijiang.

Day 06: LIJIANG – KUNMING (B,L,D)

Breakfast at the hotel.  At 8.30am we go for sightseeing at Black Dragon Park against the backdrop of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Visit the Dongba Research Institute for an insight in Naxi culture and its shamanistic practices. This park has a wide variety of medicinal plants coveted by traditional medicine practitioners and users besides a range of other flora and fauna. We proceed from here to a guided tour of Lijiang ancient city adopted by UNESCO. Stone houses with plenty of gardens and a profusion of flowers are separated by cobbled streets with rushing canals in the middle crisscrossing the old town. It’s a marvelous sight. Lunch in a restaurant in the ancient city. After lunch free to stroll around this wonderful place before your transfer to the airport at 4.30pm for the flight to Kunming, departing at 6.10pm. Upon arrival in Kunming airport, meet and transfer to Chiangmai restaurant for dinner before checking into hotel.

Day 07: KUNMING – WESTERN HILLS - DEPARTURE (B,L)

Breakfast at the hotel. 

At 8.30am tour of the Western Hills 35 minutes drive away for sightseeing. Ascend the mountain by cable car with a one-way mini-train transfer at Western Hills to visit the dragon grottoes and have a bird’s eye view of lovely Lake Dian. At the foot of the hill 15km from Kunming is Huating temple, one of the largest and oldest groupings of surviving Buddhist structures in northern Yunnan constructed in the 11 century as a Nanzhao kingdom temple of the Thai people. Visit the famous Sanqing Taoist Temple which is actually a group of temples, shrines and pavilions that was once the country villa of a Yuan dynasty prince now dedicated to the three main Taoist deities. At the top where the view around is magnificent is Dragon Gate - a group of grottoes, sculptures, passageways and pavilions hacked from the cliff face by a Taoist monk and his disciples from 1781 to 1853. At 11am proceed to Luyu for a tea performance before going to lunch of the delicious Yunnan wild mushroom and steam-pot chicken.

After lunch transfer to airport for homeward-bound flight.
