DAY 01: ARRIVE BANGKOK

Arrive in Bangkok airport, meet and transfer to city hotel for check in.
Overnight at Hotel in Bangkok


DAY 02: CANAL TOUR + GRAND PALACE & EMERALD BUDDHA TEMPLE (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Pick up for a morning tour of the klong (canals) of Thonburi and the Chao Phraya River by boat to see
traditional river life as it was lived decades ago, visiting the small floating market at Wat Sai where some
boats converge to sell their produce, feed the giant catfish in the klong to gain merit and tour the Temple
of the Dawn at about noon (12pm). Lunch in a restaurant. Afternoon tour to Grand Palace built by the
Chakri kings in 1772 until King Rama VI (1910-25) and the Emerald Buddha Temple (Wat Pra Kaew)
the royal chapel and palladium of the Kingdom.
Free at leisure for the rest of the afternoon to indulge in health massage, shopping or whatever you wish to do by consulting your guide.

DAY 03: CRUISE TO AYUTTHAYA (B, L)

Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
Morning pick up at about 7.30am at your hotel to go by road to historical Ayutthaya, a drive of about one hour. You will visit the King's Summer Palace at Bang Pa-In and tour its lovely grounds and its pavilions of unique architecture before touring the ruins of Ayutthaya (1351-1767), Thailand's second kingdom after old Sukhothai, with your guide. Then you board the River Sun Cruise boat to sail down the Chao Phraya River to Bangkok, and enjoy a luncheon on board as well as views on the River of Kings. Arrive in Bangkok at about 5.30pm and be taken to your hotel.

DAY 04: BANGKOK DEPARTURE (B)

Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
Free until time to transfer to Bangkok airport for your departure flight.
